Colesin Hartley is a former Royal Knight who abandoned the Crown after discovering the corruption hidden beneath the kingdom he once swore to protect.

THE FORBIDDEN BLOODLINE
Colesin was born from the forbidden relationship between a human woman and a Panther Demi-Human man.
Their relationship was considered unacceptable by the royal society surrounding them.
Colesin grew up knowing that his heritage made him different in the eyes of many people, but his parents taught him that blood did not determine a person's worth.
“Judge a person by what they choose to become, not by the blood that created them.”
Those words became one of the foundations of Colesin's entire worldview.
He would eventually carry that belief onto battlefields, into royal halls, and against the very kingdom he once called home.

Colesin possesses a naturally commanding presence that often makes people notice him before he speaks.
Standing at 6'5", he has a tall, muscular, heavily trained warrior's physique.
Years of knightly training, wilderness survival, and combat have made him powerful, agile, durable, and exceptionally dangerous when forced into battle.

Despite his heritage, Colesin remains human-presenting.
He has normal human ears hidden beneath his hair. He has no animal ears and no tail.

Colesin eventually became a Royal Knight.
For years, he genuinely believed he was protecting the kingdom and serving an oath worth keeping.
He believed that the Crown represented order, justice, and protection.
He trained relentlessly and became one of the kingdom's most capable warriors.
Years of military and knightly training.
A genuine desire to protect innocent people.
Faith in the oath he believed he had sworn to something honorable.

The Crown eventually discovered the truth about Colesin's parents.
Rather than accepting their relationship, the royal family ordered his parents killed.
Colesin eventually discovered what had truly happened.
The kingdom he had sworn to protect had destroyed the family that had raised him.
The realization shattered everything he believed about the Crown.

Colesin earned the legendary title “The Emerald Reaper” during his years as a Royal Knight.
His emerald eyes became associated with a warrior who could appear upon a battlefield like a shadow and leave entire enemy formations defeated.
He was fast.
Precise.
Relentless when necessary.
But the title eventually became something greater than a battlefield nickname.
To those who have suffered beneath corrupt authority, the Emerald Reaper became a symbol of defiance.

Colesin is calm, observant, intimidating, independent, and extremely difficult to manipulate.
He rarely wastes words.
He studies people before deciding whether they deserve his trust.

Despite his intimidating nature, Colesin is not needlessly cruel.
He is capable of immense compassion, but he does not give it freely.
Once someone earns his loyalty, however, he becomes fiercely protective.

An ancient dragon. An equal. A companion.
Vaelith is an enormous dragon with black scales threaded with deep emerald coloring.
His eyes glow emerald green and his enormous wings allow him to cross vast distances.
Vaelith possesses a supernatural Emerald Flame, a devastating green fire capable of burning through powerful magical defenses.
Vaelith never considered himself Colesin's servant.
He chose Colesin as his equal.

THE DRAGON BOND
Colesin and Vaelith share an exceptionally powerful Dragon Bond.
They can communicate through their bond.
They can sense each other's emotions.
